Streamovations Makes Waves in the United Kingdom

Streamovations – the pioneering streaming company from Veurne (Belgium) is joining forces with VP-AV, a leading player in audiovisual installations in the UK. “VP-AV will exclusively distribute Streamovations EncoderStudio in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland,” proudly states John Vanhoucke. “Our focus is on live city municipal council streaming, an area where we are among the leaders in Belgium and the Netherlands. The goal now is to expand across the Channel.”

A Match Made in Heaven

Iain Steele, CEO of VP-AV, is equally thrilled with the fresh partnership. “The Streamovations EncoderStudio is the missing piece of the puzzle we’ve been searching for,” he explains. “Technically, it’s way ahead. It is fully integrated with all microphone systems, it provides smooth streaming, simultaneous subtitles and translations, high-quality transcriptions – this device can do it all. But where the Streamovations EncoderStudio truly excels is in its user-friendliness. Plug and play, and you’re good to go. Combine that with our high quality audiovisual installations, and you immediately realize this is a match made in heaven.”

Challenge Ahead

As of today, Streamovations streams the council meetings of approximately 50 Belgian and Dutch cities and municipalities. Add to that all the gatherings of the European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels. With the United Kingdom on the horizon, the tech experts from Veurne face yet another substantial challenge. John Vanhoucke remains unfazed. “We have a highly robust and forward-thinking product,” he states. “In that regard, we are in an excellent position. The challenge primarily lies in staying ahead of the curve. Every day, we are actively searching for ways to further enhance our streaming services. We possess the audacious ambition to outpace everyone and everything. That is the real challenge.”

Exciting 2024 Ahead

“With VP-AV, we have a top-notch partner,” Vanhoucke concludes. “A company with a wealth of experience and an impeccable reputation. Together, we have everything it takes to deliver an end-to-end council solution in the UK. Yes, indeed, 2024 promises to be very exciting!”
